// The Dementia Guide

Alzheimer’s Society commissioned RAW to create an introductory film to their Dementia Guide, a publication given out to people when they are first diagnosed with the condition. It was necessary that the film was clear, informative and reassuring and helped people who have just been diagnosed to understand more about the disease as well as the treatments, support and services that are available.


We wanted to ensure the film delivered information in an interesting and honest way and, in order to achieve this, RAW decided to focus the film around human case studies. Three real couples, where one of them has dementia, talk about their experiences of the disease and how they are coping. It is this human element that helps viewers who have been recently diagnosed realise that they are not alone and there are lots of ways in which they can be helped and supported.


Alzheimer’s Society now have an engaging and compelling video guide that efficiently delivers their print publication’s content on a highly accessible platform.
