// RAW’s Hot Video Picks of the Week

We’ll be publishing a weekly digest of our favourite video and film clips from around t’internet. Some are new, some are old – but all are cool and demonstrate great technical and/or creative treatments. Stay tuned each Monday for more.

13th February 2015

It may have been Friday 13th, but that didn’t put a downer on RAW’s Cinema Friday – in fact, we had a really interesting week, showing videos that used new and innovative techniques.

Below are this week’s picks, enjoy:

Tom – “I really liked this new take on traditional light painting because I think it could open up lots of creative possibilities (plus it looks really cool!).”

Mr Selfie:

Charlotte – “An animation that satirises the #firstworldproblem of constantly being on your phone – what’s not to like? Funny, great animation and a simple music track that you can’t get out of your head.”

Unconditional Rebel:

Louisa – “I chose this because it’s an impressively simple technique used really effectively and I immediately wanted to try it out for our next shoot!”

Royal Blood:

Ryan – “Not only is this a great track, the music video is really cool. The treatment is clever, combining real life and 2D animation – relying on the latter to bring to life the more ambitious action sequences. Nicely designed, slick execution and a lot of impact for (probably) a fairly small budget.”

Look out for our next post – published every Monday. Our selection of the best video production london, corporate video production, web video production, online video production and corporate film.

"The best thing about RAW is that they intuitively know what’s required of the job and are always looking for solutions to problems whether they are creative, technical or financial. Above all, their results are great and represent fantastic quality. I trust the company implicitly and will be continuing to develop the relationship."
