// Pippa’s Story

RAW recently went to shoot in Surrey for the Princess Alice Hospice, a hospice that is special in its provision of at-home care for terminally ill patients who wish to stay in the comfort of their own home.

It was an especially sensitive shoot because we were filming in the home of Pippa who had lost her husband, David, to cancer. Pippa wanted to tell her story and explain why she is forever thankful to the Hospice who, due to their at-home care, fulfilled David’s wish to die at home surrounded by his family. We filmed interviews with Pippa and her daughter, Poppy, talking about their experiences and both were a pleasure to work with. We feel privileged to have been a part of their story in some way.

Pippa and Poppy were particularly pleased with the final result, praising the RAW team for their fantastic patience and vision on the day of filming as well as naming the final video beautiful, moving and powerful. We are very glad to have produced this film and we hope that people in a similar situation to Pippa will find comfort in her story and help the Hospice to grow and grow.
